Shipping Policy for The Herb Centre

1.1 Shipping Duration

We understand that timely delivery is important to you, and that’s why we offer free express post shipping on orders over $149 Typically, your order will arrive within 1-3 business days, depending on your location, courtesy of Canada Post. However, please note that shipments to provincial areas or urban areas with a smaller population (e.g., Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick) may take up to 4 business days.

1.2 Tracking Information

Once your order is processed, you will receive a tracking number to monitor its journey. If you do not receive a tracking number within a few hours on the day your order is marked as “completed,” please contact us immediately for assistance. If your order is marked as “on hold,” it means we are still waiting to confirm payment.

1.3 Late Delivery/No Updates

While the tracking number will provide an estimated delivery date, this is not always the exact delivery date. If your package is delayed beyond the expected date with no updates, please reach out to us with your order number in the subject line. Our customer service team will work directly with Canada Post to trace your package, which may take 3-5 business days. Rest assured, we are here to assist you until your order is delivered.

1.4 Package Missing or Lost

In the rare event that your order is marked as lost or stolen by Canada Post, we offer full replacement coverage. However, if the tracking information shows that the package was marked as “Delivered,” we are unable to provide a replacement.

1.5 Electronic Tracking Information

If your tracking number initially shows “Electronic Information Submitted by Shipper,” do not worry. This is standard practice, and once the package is scanned by Canada Post, you will be able to track it in real time. This update usually occurs by 8 PM EST.

1.6 Delivered But Not Received

If the tracking shows “Successfully Delivered” but you haven’t received your package, it may have been misdelivered. Please check with your neighbors or community mailbox. If the package does not arrive the following business day, contact us for further assistance.

2.1 Delivery to Specific Locations

Canada Post’s tracking system indicates successful delivery when the parcel arrives as addressed. For locations without direct delivery to your door, check with other locations like mailrooms or front desks.

2.2 Signature Request for Delivery

For security purposes, The Herb Centre offers the option of requiring a signature upon delivery. If you would like to request a signature, please indicate this preference at checkout in the notes. If you do not wish to require a signature, simply checkout as you would normally.

2.3 Package Theft in Remote Areas

In areas with higher risks of postal theft, such as Northern Ontario and Northern Quebec, we recommend considering delivering your package to an alternate safe drop location for security reasons. We are not liable for lost packages in these regions.

2.4 Canada Post Tracking Issues

At times, Canada Post may not update tracking information promptly. If your tracking page shows no updates and it’s been more than 5 business days, please contact us, and we will escalate the issue to Canada Post.

2.5 Address Errors

Ensure that your shipping and billing information is accurate when placing an order. If the wrong address is provided and the package is already in process, we cannot be held liable for misdeliveries.
